Because Only Together We Can
What we do
We transform art into care cards to uplift cancer patients, fund prevention programs, and raise awareness while building a supportive community
We organize art competitions where artists of all skill levels can submit their work
The winning submissions are professionally redesigned into custom care cards
We offer Care Cards to the public to purchase, with all proceeds supporting cancer prevention and services for underserved communities through our hospital partnerships
Cancer patients are not only the judges in selecting the artwork winners, but they also feel connected to a larger community of support and hope
Our platform unites artists, art lovers, and cancer patients in a collective mission to raise awareness and support cancer care and prevention.
Our long-term mission is to ensure that everyone, regardless of background or financial situation, has access to life-saving cancer screenings and affordable prevention resources.
Who we are
Our mission is to make cancer prevention and care accessible to everyone. Through art, we fund cancer screenings, affordable prevention tools, and support programs for underserved communities, breaking down barriers to essential care.
We strive to educate, inspire, and create a space where cancer patients feel seen, heard, and uplifted—building a movement of hope, compassion, and a healthier future for all.
What we do
CareCards4Cancer is a movement of education and empowerment, where creativity meets compassion. We aim to inspire people of all ages to learn about cancer, participate in prevention efforts, and support those in need.
Through every care card sent, every artwork submitted, and every individual who gets involved, we strive to make cancer care more accessible and meaningful. Together, we envision a world where cancer care extends beyond treatment to foster community, hope, and empowerment.
About us
I was just 7 years old when my grandfather was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. The diagnosis devastated our family, and it was the first time I truly understood the severity and impact of cancer. Before that, I had never really thought about cancer or how deeply it could affect lives. That experience left a lasting impact on me and became the spark for what would eventually become CareCards4Cancer.
The idea for the organization started in 2018 during my 4th-grade community outreach project. I created a website called CareCards for Cancer, where my goal was simple: to use my art to create digital cards and send them to children undergoing cancer treatment in hospitals across the United States. These cards were designed to inspire, uplift, and bring a little joy to those facing one of life’s toughest battles.
What began as a small project to share my artwork with children in need grew into something much bigger. It ignited a vision for a nonprofit organization — one that would not only provide art but also educate and raise awareness about cancer, especially for my generation. Through CareCards4Cancer, I wanted to create a resource that would show young people how they can make a difference in the fight against cancer.
I started this nonprofit to help others understand the importance of cancer prevention, early detection, and the power of community support for those battling cancer. My mission is to build awareness about cancer care, particularly in underserved communities, and to inspire younger generations to get involved, make a difference, and stand in solidarity with those affected by the disease.
